Disney Princess Sidekicks Book Tag

The amazing Mandy @ Book Princess Reviews recently made this tag herself! It looks so fun and I am excited to start the Disney Princess Sidekicks Book TagI love the Disney Princess Sidekicks, so let’s get to it!

Mushu from Mulan / Olaf from Frozen

The Comic Relief- Name your favorite hilarious character or your favorite comedy/funny book

I loved Cassian. Every time he showed up, he was great comic relief, but also contributed to the team and pushed everyone to be their best. I just think Cassian is really rad!

The Seven Dwarfs from Snow White

Favorite Group/Ensemble

23437156

I hate to be a copycat, but come on! The Crow Crew is just so amazing! They have the best banter, the complicated but secretly caring relationships, and they’re just overall and amazing group of characters!

Pascal from Tangled

THE LOYAL CHEERLEADER CHAMELEON (NOT A FROG, FLYNN RIDER) – NAME A BOOK THAT STARTED OUT ONE WAY BUT CHANGED FOR YOU

227463

In my “Classics I Enjoyed” post,  I mentioned A Clockwork Orange and how I enjoyed this book right up until the last chapter. I was really loving the dark elements and how  weirdly creepy everything was, until the last chapter undid pretty much everything that had been building up throughout the book.

Meeko from Pocahontas

POCAHONTAS’S SLY AND SNEAKY RACCOON FRIEND – NAME A PLOT TWIST THAT YOU DID NOT SEE COMING

5470

Not to brag, but I’m very rarely surprised by plot twists. I still enjoy them as long as they’re well-done, but the only twist I could think of that actually surprised me was the end of 1984. I will never forget that ending no matter how many books I read.

RAJAH FROM ALADDIN / FLOUNDER FROM THE LITTLE MERMAID

GENTLE WITH THEIR PRINCESS BUT PROTECTIVE WITH EVERYONE ELSE – NAME YOUR FAVORITE BEST FRIEND IN A NOVEL

33

I’m not even sure I can pick just one friendship from this series. I mean, we all know Merry and Pippin are best bros and I love them.  But then there’s Sam and Frodo and Sam is arguably the most pure and precious person to ever exist. But then there’s Legolas and Gimli who became best friends against all odds and LEGOLAS EVEN SNUCK GIMLI INTO ESSENTIALLY ELVEN AFTERLIFE!! Like, if that’s not true friendship, I don’t know what is.

LOUIS FROM THE PRINCESS AND THE FROG / SEBASTIAN FROM THE LITTLE MERMAID / COGSWORTH, LUMIERE, MRS. POTTS, & CHIP FROM BEAUTY AND THE BEAST

THE MUSICAL BUNCH – NAME A NOVEL WHERE MUSIC PLAYED A BIG PART OR MADE YOU WANT TO SING ITS PRAISES

6076413

Ballad was one of the books that I read pretty early in my reader life, and it was one of the books that really kept me reading. It’s got fae AND music, so I rather enjoyed it!

MAXIMUS FROM TANGLED

THE OBSTACLE IN FLYNN RIDER’S WAY – NAME A CHARACTER THAT FACES A LOT OF OBSTACLES

6137154

I almost put Graceling, too. But Fire faces a lot of obstacles throughout her book, not the least of which is her attitude for her own powers.

HAMISH, HUBERT, & HARRIS FROM BRAVE

FAVORITE FAMILY DYNAMICS IN A NOVEL

186074

(I almost put this one for the music one, too). Even though it’s not present for very long, I love the dynamic between Kvothe and his parents and the beginning of The Name of the Wind. They’re so cute and loving and I just loved them.

RAY FROM THE PRINCESS AND THE FROG / 3 FAIRIES FROM SLEEPING BEAUTY

THE ADVICE GIVERS – BOOK THAT MOST IMPACTED YOUR LIFE

140225

Time to get cheesy. The Chronicles of Narnia were some of the first chapter books I ever read, and I love them dearly. But The Voyage of the Dawn Treader is my comfort book, and the one I go to whenever I’m feeling down or confused or scared. It makes me feel braver and better prepared to face the world. End cheese.

HEI HEI FROM MOANA

NAME A CHARACTER THAT STEALS THE SHOW

3236307

So, in my opinion, Bitterblue was amazing even in Graceling. The first time we see her, she’s a terrified little girl, running with her mother for their lives from her cruel stepfather. But, in the end of the book, she’s a huge part of the reason anyone survives. She’s so awesome, she even got her own book later.

GUS & JAQ FROM CINDERELLA

OPPOSITES ATTRACT – NAME YOUR FAVORITE OR WORST OPPOSITE ATTRACTS PAIRING

25558608

I just love Elias and Laia. They’ve had completely different backgrounds, but they make each other better. They push each other out of their comfort zones while accepting each other’s short-comings. In short, they’re precious, and I can’t wait to read more about them in Reaver at the Gates.

I Tag You

I’m going to tag some of my new(er) followers to get to know them a little more! As always, tags are just for fun, so if you don’t want to do this one for whatever reason, there’s no pressure!

  1. Oooooh, this was fantastic, Ryann!! I loved reading your answers, and you picked some ones that I would have never thought in a million book years but worked wonderfully. I never knew there was a super big twist at the end of 1984, but now I super want to read it because I usually pick up on plot twists as well, so if it caught you off guard,I definitely want to try it out. I also had never heard of the other Maggie Stiefvater book. It seems quite interesting, though. And the Crow Crew really is the best. ❤ Wonderful answers, Ryann, and I loved this! Thanks so much for doing the tag! ❤

    • Thank YOU for making such an awesome tag! 😀

I don’t know if 1984 was a plot twist, exactly, but I definitely did not expect it to go the way it did!

Ballad and its prequel Lament are actually the only Stiefvater books I’ve read so far! 😦 The rest of her books have been on my TBR List for years!
