Top 5 Tuesday- Favorite Book Covers

Happy Tuesday, everyone! I was so sad to miss last week’s Top 5 Tuesday Topic! I wish I could say I was super busy or something, but the truth is, last week was just a bit of a slump in general. Reading, blogging, and just overall. But I’m back, and I’m really excited to be talking about my favorite book covers for this week’s Top 5 Tuesday, hosted by the awesome Shanah @ Bionic Bookworm!

Let’s get to it!

#5- Where the Mountain Meets the Moon by Grace Lin

Where the Mountain Meets the Moon

I love this cover, and its style, because, to me, it screams awesome children’s adventure, WITH DRAGONS!!!! Which is pretty much what this book is. Plus, I love the decorative border on the top and bottom.

#4- The Bear and the Nightingale by Katherine Arden

The Bear and the Nightingale

I love this cover because it’s simple, but still so pretty! The night and snow plus that cozy looking cabin made me want to dive right into this story!

#3- Fire and Graceling by Kristin Cashore

I love getting the partial face on the cover (especially since each is important to the story), and seeing each ladies weapon of choice. These ones are clean and simple, with just enough of a pop to make me love them!

#2- The Hazel Wood by Melissa Albert

The Hazel Wood

How could I not love this cover? It’s like all the aspects I love about darker fairytales rolled into one beautiful cover! (Also, I was just approved for an ARC of this guy, and I’m super excited!!)

#1- Wicked Like a Wildfire by Lana Popovic

Wicked

If you follow me on Instagram, you may recognize this one. This cover is so beautiful, it’s made several appearances on my feed! I love the gentle wildflowers mixed with sharp, almost metallic-seeming edges and subtle skulls woven into this cover. It’s just all-around gorgeous!

That’s it for this week’s Top 5 Tuesday! Thanks for reading, and make sure you check out Shanah’s post!

What do you think about my list? Do you also love the covers I chose? Or maybe you’d swap them out for something different? Let me know your favorite covers in the comments below!

  1. All of these covers are very pretty! The Beast and the Nightingale cover is my favorite and really makes me want to read it. You should take a gander at Beasts of Extraordinary Circumstance too.
